6 hour battery was a big selling point, other players had 2 hour battery life and seldom made it thru one dvd movie.

i ended up buying sony fx850 dvd player.....i love it...it has the best screen resolution and a long battery life...and it has an 8.5 inch screen size....it is worth the money.
