Best DVD Players for Surround Sound

we haven't set up surround sound yet and use it with a vizio 120 hz lcd, but feel the audio and video quality are transferred well.

i kinda wish i had sprung for the bd55 because of the dolby surround sound but that's for another day.

sound is delivered through a yamaha 5.1 receiver and fluance 5 speaker surround sound system.

during casual viewing, i genuinely have a hard time telling the difference between dvd's and blu-rays on my 50" panasonic plasma and 7.1 surround sound theater!

the receiver and the telivision will automatically switch to the proper inputs and outputs for the movie to play and have surround sound from the receiver.

the video quality is perfect and with the 7.1 surround sound capabilities it has the ability to be the heart of the most advanced home theater system around!

another option is to buy a newer surround sound receiver that has a hdmi switch built in so you switch audio and video together.

i do not subscribe to tv so i only had to hook my player up to my (older) surround sound and new tv.
