Pros: worked well until the laser eye went blind, but it is refurbished. Cons: I was told to stay away from combo units...maybe they were right! from Shopping.com This unit rejects 2 out of every 3 disks. It would record to almost any format DVD, but only single-layer DVD-R discs recorded in 1 or 2 hour mode played reliably in other players.
