Cons: Didn't get a full year out of it.? Review: bought as a replacement of a previous fail Phillips and Wal Mart brand units.? Now this 3rd unit from Samsung failed with less than 1 yr under its belt.? I used it to copy my NFL team each week. from Shopping.com I ordered a new Samsung DVD-VR375 1080p Up-Converting VHS Combo DVD Recorder and received a re-furbished item. When I first used the VCR 4 months later it would not track properly and rendered the VCR useless and therefore useless to record from VCR to DVD! from Amazon.com Although the quality of converted VHS to DVD was never very good, it worked well for playing store bought DVDs for about 4 months. It died in month 5 -- right after the warranty ran out. from Amazon.com I have had pretty good luck with Samsung products, but this player has been a nightmare and a waste.
