Pros: Panasonic customer support is friendly and sent me a software upgrade CD at no charge. Cons: Recorder is to tempermental to be useful. from Shopping.com Pros: Worked great for first 12 months in all respects. Cons: After 12 months, its dead; NO sound quality or picture quality at ALL. The Bottom Line: Avoid Panasonic brand name for DVD recorders, until they prove themselves again by making ones lasting more than 12 months. Review: QUIT WORKING ENTIRELY after 1 year 2 months. from Shopping.com Pros: Good recording quality from Shopping.com Tuner glitches when channel surfing. No 5.1 recording. The Bottom Line: If you can get a bargain, it's a good DTV tuner and DVD recorder, but you will have to deal with frustrating navigation.
