removed the disc and tried one of my own recordings, dvd+r dl. from Cnet.com initially the picture quality and sync seemed very poor. from Cnet.com pros: easy to set up & use; price; the whole thing from Shopping.com pros: price - quality - ease of use - simplicity - remote - size from Shopping.com pros: good quality picture and sound, great price, great portability from Shopping.com I was looking for an inexpensive machine to use for daily DVD playback to take the usage load off of my DVD player that I use for karaoke discs.

I saw this one at Walmart. It was only from Cnet.com Pros: Small footprint. I would consider it inexpensive, but it DOESNT WORK. Cons: IT DOESNT WORK brand new out of the box!! what else needs said? from Shopping.com Pros: plays DVDs fine now Cons: plays CDs badly now and total performance won't get better The Bottom Line: I'm hoping to get a Sony or JVC player next. from Shopping.com Pros: Easy to set up and use.
