Pros: Clean upconversion, many settings Cons: Can't open the dvd tray from the remote "I got my unit as a fantastic freebie to the Samsung 50" LED Projection TV that I bought here at Best Buy a few months back. I bought an HDMI cable and hooked it to my tv and I was all set in a few minutes. from Bestbuy.com My first upconverting deck, a Samsung DVD-HD960, crapped out on me after a year and half (I shoulda seen that coming; it had stability issues right out of the box). I've had a Yamaha SACD/DVD-Audio deck for some years now and it's been a solid performer so, although I couldn't find much in the way of other reviews of this item, I figured that for the price it was worth looking at. from Bestbuy.com Pros: Upscaling is wonderful! I put a few movies on my flash drive, plug it in, watch them, and delete them when I'm done. Looks just as good as any DVD, and I don't have to waste money burning a movie I'll only watch once.
