What People Say
Very good quality pictures from cable recording on the VCR side.

I have also used to do timer recording to the DVD with no problems.
from Vanns.com
Timer record always defaults to DVD mode, so to use a VHS tape you need to select each item in the record setup.
from Beachaudio.com
I needed to record old vhs tapes of my family, particularly my grand boys, onto dvd disc, before the tapes completely degrade.
from Buydig.com
Summary: Very nice looking piece of equipment and alot of nice *extras* that most DVD recorders do not come with yet.
from Buydig.com
I purchased this DVD/VHS Combo Recorder to transfer VHS tapes to DVD and to upconvert DVDs for viewing on an HD TV.
from Circuitcity.com
Recording from HDTV is nearly useless, since most broadcasts are copy protected.
