Still recommended. Review: Back in November I got separated and moved into an apartment. Since I wasn't able to take all of the things I wanted I went to Target to purchase a cheap DVD player for my kids' entertainment and chose the Memorex (MVD2040) DVD Player for aprox. $35. from Shopping.com I Just reveiwed this Dvd !! And I Loved it I think It's Great for the Price !! Go Memorex !! from Sears.com You just can't beat this for the price. Have had it for over a year and no problems at all. This thing seems to play all formats of DVDs, and had no trouble handling burned (and compressed) DVDs.(We bought it after the $300 Sony in our house started skipping after about 45mins of play from any of our 50 different burned disks...the same disks play fine on the value-priced Memorex.)It doesnt seem to have all the same features as the higher priced players, but seriously, who needs to watch a movie from multiple viewing angles and whatnot?If you need a steady performer and just need something that works, here is your solution. from Sears.com Memorex Progressive Scan DVD Player has all the features you want. It plays DVD, CD, MP3 CD and picture CDs with Dolby Digital output and an on-screen graphical user interface. from Amazon.com if ur working on a budget this product is the way to go. from Sears.com and i loved it i think it's great for the price !! from Sears.com you get a lot for your money with this dvd player. from Sears.com for the cost it is the best one out there. from Sears.com and it's a great deal cause it doesn't cost much. from Sears.com price is low, quality is high. from Sears.com
