Pros: Well, it came in a nice package that was well organized. Cons: Refuses to show colors, no customer service from Insignia. The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this to anyone.
Of course Best Buy wont take anything back unless you buy one of their Performance Warranty Plans so obviously we were out of luck when it came down to getting a refund or exchange. Is there a reason they don't merely have a manufacturer's warranty? Anyway, as it turns out, my mother in law decided to go ahead and get us another DVD player for christmas and it just happened that she bought none other than, yes, an Insignia Piece of Junk from Best Buy. Not to hurt her feelings, we merely tried to take it back (it was within the 30 day return policy for Best Buy junk) and they told us they couldn't find any record of the purchase and therefore, once again, we were out of luck.
No speed selection on player itself, only on remote. Remote has LOTS more feature, functions, than player.
Pros: low cost, compact, has many features, plays many formats
Pros: Low price. Large screen.
DVD Recorder / VCR Combo, 1 Disc, Progressive Scan, Dolby Digital (Digital out only)
