I used this player for 4 months and the color is horrible, the macroblocking is unacceptable. Many dark images are green tinted. I have a denon receiver and I liked the idea that these belong together, but I'm too picky about color. from Circuitcity.com verry easy to use. picture quality and dvd sound quallity is great.. i have this hoked up to my denon DRA 397 receiver(great receiver) with energy speakers and a klipsch RW 12D reference serise sub. the one drawback is when playing a cd. from Circuitcity.com I bought it as a refurb and it performed beautifully for a while. Now it skips, freezes and has various other screw ups. I would strongly suggest that you not buy this or any similar DVD player from denon. from Amazon.com Whenever it gets to a DVD it has trouble with it just freezes and none of the buttons including power will work. You have to unplug the thing from the wall to even get the disk out. Don`t expect any help from Denon either. Although it is just one step above Denon's entry-level DVD player, it nonetheless bristles with technological features expected in this price range and beyond and its performance shows it.
