The Toshiba DR570 is my second Toshiba DVR. My first one was, to put it kindly, a beast to use. from Crutchfield.com Took a shot with this unit since no one had it in stock locally. I returned 2 other units by different manufactures that had poor preformance. This Toshiba had the best build quality and a cooling fan which I think is a must have feature along with defaulting to tuner mode on power off. The DVR is slow in loading but this seems to be the norm. from Crutchfield.com My Sis-in-law has two, highly recommended this Toshiba recorder and offered to help whenever there might be a hang-up, so I ordered it. I have to say it's been more than satisfactory. from Amazon.com I could write all day about how wonderful this new Toshiba digital tuner DVD recorder is but won't waste your time with facts many won't understand just saying I have been using 3 Panasonic DVD recorders with built in analog tuners for over 3 years.
