Best Nintendo DS Games for Learning

this is a good educational factor in this game.

this adds a slight learning value to the game.

for me, these sheets act as learning tools.

in comparison to a modern console game where to just start the game, you need to set aside an hour or so just to get through the introduction and the training mission.

where i found myself, in other collections, hopping from game to game aimlessly, here, i'm gently prodded into learning the intricacies of each selection, and it's immensely satisfying.

only, this is a uniquely fun way of learning!

when i got to the fourth game (monkeys and singer), i had to skip the training - i could spend five-plus minutes without getting enough recognized flicks for it to pass me on to the actual game.

just leveling up your pokemon is fun alone, about half my time playin platinum is mainly just training and leveling up my pokemon.

besides all the new changes, the raw appeal of catching pokemon, training them, and battling with them is ever present in platinum version, and really, isn't that the reason these games are so loved,

they're now showing that video games can be great teaching tools, in cooking recently with personal trainer: cooking and mainly with mathematics, and now they are about to do it again for the ds.

games like brain age and my word coach are educational and interesting to play, this one is not.

that said, i think a kid just learning math would enjoy it more than i did, so.....
