for my needs the traditional top load washer and dryer combo was the best choice for me as i couldn't justify the cost difference in the front loaders.

i ordered the amana front load washer and dryer on line, and no i didn't stack them, i have a laundry room built for side by side so didn't really make sense to.

although the washer and dryer are a bit larger than the standard front load when stacked the take up much less space.

i bought an amana washer and dryer on may 13 2009,it broke down on july 8 2009.the parts had to be back ordered.i will have no clean clothes for weeks.don,t buy this brand or any maytag(same company).
