THE PARTS HAD TO BE BACK ORDERED. I WILL HAVE NO CLEAN CLOTHES FOR WEEKS. DON,T BUY THIS BRAND OR ANY MAYTAG(SAME COMPANY). from Homedepot.com I wanted to get one of these washers for awhile and when i visited my local home depot store the sales clerk took his time with me and answered all of my questions even if they seem to be out in left field. When I got this washer home I was amazed with how quite it was and how the clothes came out almost dry. I have saved $20.00 on my water bill and $50.00 on my electric. It is extremely quiet - you almost have to look at it to see if it's running! from Homedepot.com I worked in a laundramat and was used to low suds in front loaders, very important to use proper amount of soap, a 1/3rd is good on regular detergent)The only downfall for me is,I have to reach up over it to put clothes away and keep turning it on by accident. My rebate was here in about 2 weeks! I got mine on special from Home Depot and only waited about a week for delivery. The metal vent duct didn't come with it, nor did the electrical chord or any kind of plug-in. Bought the washer/dryer set and they are great for the money. Compared to the pricier brands, which this is made by Maytag, money well spent. The delivery guy told us that GE is the parent corporation of GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Admiral, Hotpoint and LG. We noticed that this Amana had some twins under those other brands, but this machine was the lowest price and carried the same warranty as the others. from Homedepot.com and love the way it quickly dries clothes etc.... great dryer for the price and it is mechanical... thanks maytag........... happy again.... from Sears.com
