Bought this to be able to access old hard drive data while updating a laptop, also because it supports eSATA. Works fine, was recognized right off. from Amazon.com Used it with my old 2.5 inch sata disk and works perfect. Like one reviewer said, it has a full PCB for your hard drive to screw on, so it's definitely much more solid and stable; however, the PCB rattles a little bit on the tracks, which I think should not matter. from Amazon.com
