Pros: I own a business that has a branch for PC repair/maintenance and I bought one of these for the sole purpose of a travel adapter. Don't even use the mounting sleeve - just carry the actual adapter and two-port USB cable. You can't kill this thing! from Newegg.com Pros: Easy and quick assembly; up-an-running in 5 minutes. Seems to keep HDD cool enough - only warm to the touch after 1 hour. Cons: Needs 2 USB ports. Some say one will do but others comment this might interfere with computer's USB functioning. from Newegg.com Another reviewer indicated that it does not support drives larger than 160GB, but that is not what I'm seeing. The full capacity of the 500GB drive is recognized and available. I've also used McCally enclosures, which are well made but always seem to require use of an extra power connection, using 2 USB ports. Nice imitation leather sleeve, fits in shirt pocket. from Newegg.com The harddisk doesnt fit in the enclosure and it's taking me forever to push it in and I am scared that I might damage my harddisk in the process. I checked the connection which work perfectly, which means that this enclosure is meant for my laptop harddrive and I didn't purchase a wrong enclosure but the enclosure is useless if it can't hold my harddrive. I could have connected the Harddrive in many ways through USB if I wanted to but what I wanted was an enclosure that would protect my harddrive and this one fails to provide that. DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK from Amazon.com This product works just perfect. I changed my HD of my PS3 for a bigger one and used the old one as an external drive with this enclosure. Installation was a snap and it worked great with my Windows and Mac machines. from Amazon.com Used it to replace my 60gb HD on my PS3 with a 320gb WD HD. The only problem I encountered was when I connected it to my iMac keyboard using the USB cord. For whatever reason it would not recognize the 320gb drive. from Amazon.com
