Easy to install drive and slide in. Power switch. Cons: As usual with these devices (and I've tried a *bunch*), the power and USB connections always get flimsy after a few months of use - and this is no different. Sometimes feels like the cord with just fall out. from Newegg.com Pros: Recently purchased this and installed my 146GB Hitatchi HD. It was very easy to install, and unlike other reviews there was nothing odd w/ the screw length. I am currently running it off my laptop as external storage atm. Cons: AC adapter cable length, but this is not really a biggie as I have an extra long USB cable and this HDD does not necessarily have to be beside my laptop or have my eyes on it at all time... from Newegg.com The enclosure was sent crashing to the ground. It worked for another 15 minutes or so, but once it reach the 30 minute mark, the drive spun up again, but couldn't get the information to the computer. I shut it down and reconnected it, and this time the computer didn't even recognize the drive was there, so I'm pretty sure the USB connection is shot. :/Overall it worked as it should have, until the fall killed it, but it still lost an egg for the short power cord which was just a general hassle the whole time I owned it. from Newegg.com cheap price for cheap quality. it just felt like none of the pieces fit well together. cheap, cheap cheap.so i switched it for this Antec enclosure and it has been running very well. i am very satisfied with my purchase. from Newegg.com Pros: Aluminum case seems to keep drive cool. Cons: Lets start off with the power supply is not one of nice ones laptops used and feels really low quality. Two hard drives I have hooked up just stopped working, thanks Antec. Antec products are well made and look excellent. from Amazon.com When I had to open it manually, I noticed there were no drivers at all included for Windows Vista...in fact it only had drivers for Windows 98! I had to contact the manufacturer, which I am still waiting for a resolution on this situation, but I am VERY disappointed with this product. It will not even acknowledge the USB connection as a new hardware connection...what's up with that?! from Amazon.com
