I just gave this doll to my granddaughter as a belated Christmas present (had to return the original because the sound feature didn't work, no fault of the shipper), so whether or not she loves it and plays with it a lot remains to be seen. She's going to be a Big Sister soon, so she's very into that aspect of it.
