I chose it because it has the steel interior, and that makes it very quiet. My only complaint is that the door is flimsy. It's made by the same company that makes Kitchenaid, which I put in my last house. The door on the Kitchenaid is like the door of a safe--very solid. This one is not nearly as sturdy.
