Best Dishwashers for Seal

even thought it arrived broken (leaking profusely from a bad seal), the customer service was prompt and i'm sure the problem will be repaired soon.the one annoying thing is the long wash time.

took it to an authorized service agent in town and it took over a week to get the part in (a seal to the hard water softener tank).finally, got it back and it works great.

it has a form fitting stainless steel interior, mechanical controls (which, imo, are better than electronic on a machine that gets wet and steamy alot), well fitting seals, and stable casters.

but maybe the seals can be replaced.

you should also be around to shut off the water faucet relatively quickly after each use, otherwise water just continues to flow through the hose and a build-up of pressure could cause the seals to

ask for pipe dope, aka pipe joint sealant, for your shut off valve and supply adapter joints!

i soaked everything in clr to remove the scale from the sump grill, the heating element and the wash arm, and cleaned the gunk out from under the door seal, and away we went.

the rubber seal around the inside window came loose and water came out of the corners of the front panel.

then the sealant around the glass window failed and was repaired.

i glued the window back in with 3m scotch-seal industrial sealant 800 and the dishwasher is now back in use.

had to buy a thiner washer to get a good seal and not have water spraying everywhere.

two days ago, i discovered that the inner window was no longer sealed against the stainless steel.
