I researched dishwashers for awhile before my purchase. This Whirlpool was top rated in it's price range. I love it and couldn't be happier. from Ajmadison.com Whirlpool and others make quieter dishwashers but for our use this one is great. We are almost never in the kitchen when it runs, so being super quiet is not that important. from Ajmadison.com it was very easy to install, and it is the quietest dishwasher i have ever owned. from Ajmadison.com i have clean dishes describe yourself: avid cook bottom line: yes, i would recommend this to a friend from Ajmadison.com the door is noisy when opening and closing. from Absolutehome.com whirlpool and others make quieter dishwashers but for our use this one is great. from Ajmadison.com easy to self-install. from Ajmadison.com i have mixed feelings about the new silverware holder which more or less hangs on the outside of the lower rack. from Ajmadison.com when working i have liked the simplicity of the controp panel and the quietness of the machine. from Ajmadison.com on the minus side, the long silver ware holder has narrow compartments which will not accomodate the small things (sippy cup lids etc..)that fit so easily into my old silver holder. from Ajmadison.com
