I can't believe I suffered all these years with that other dishwasher! This one is so quiet that the first time we used it, my husband and I thought it had stopped. You can't hear it unless you get right next to the door! We love the delay feature that allows you to have it clean while you are asleep. from Ajmadison.com We bought this GE model due to recall of our old GE ( 1997) Profile which was great, and because of the rebate program.
