In the summer I went on vacation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and took this camera as the de-facto for taking pictures; I have to admit that was kind of risky going on a 7 day vacation but well worth it. I ended up putting in an 8GB SDHC card for heck of it just 'incase' and I must say that you'll run out of battery life before you fill up that card (we could take about 300-500 pics before battery would be dead.) from Amazon.com The LCD screen lacks durability and Fujifilm doesn't back their product. I owned the camera for 3 weeks and a crack developed on the LCD screen causing it to black out. from Amazon.com Wow, what can you say about a camera that had to be sent in for repairs 1 month after purchase when the lcd screen went kaplooey, and not because of mis-use either.
