I bought this to replace a Kodak I sold before it's time. I bought this camera for it's price and because once I had a Sony camera with the same megapixel rating as a friend's Samsung and the resulting pictures were overwhelmingly inferior. The Sony which I thought would be a great camera took mediocre pictures, the Samsung took excellent pictures. from Amazon.com I ended up taking mine apart because the motor on the lens did not work anymore. Not saying this happens for many people.. I have many samsung items and I am happy with them all except this one. from Amazon.com For Pete's sake, don't use throw-away batteries in any camera !
