This is my 2nd R927 purchased. I love the features and quality of photos.
from Compusa.com
Now the R927 is cheaper it’s a good buy – not necessarily for its image quality, which is average. However, the panorama stitching is jaw-droppingly good.

If you want a camera that's easy to use and takes photos best suited for small prints then I'd recommend looking at the Photosmart R927.

I am once again pleased with my Overstock purchase. I took my photosmart camera on a recent trip and received many compliments on the large viewfinder screen. I was able to manipulate the camera quite easily.
from Overstock.com
The large screen makes taking pictures a dream. You can actually see what you are taking a picture of. I'm hooked on HP Photosmart Cameras.

HP R927 Digital Camera Strengths: Good color, very easy to use, large view screen, good pictures (still and video), informative menus and only weighs 8 ounces with battery and card installed. Weaknesses: When taking a picture the view screen is very grainy.

"The HP R927 takes the lead of the Photosmart fleet of digital cameras with 8.2 megapixels and a slew of manual controls and in-camera editing effects. If consumers can find the camera listed for under $300, it will offer a decent value for beginners looking for a relatively simple, yet feature-laden point-and-shoot.

I was all set to buy my brother-in-law's R927, when he told me his wife liked it too much. But, having read the professional and user reviews, I still had to have it.
from Circuitcity.com
I've been using the R927 for nine months now to take outdoor photos and I'm very happy with the quality of the images. Prior to this I was using a lower-resolution Canon PowerShot and I'm glad I switched to the HP.
from Amazon.com
I already had the HP R707 (one of their first generations of the R family) so I knew that with the product description what I was getting. And I got a bundle of fun.
