Sounded like slipping gears when you turned it on. So I had to ship it (at my cost) to the repair shop to have it fixed (Kodak's cost). Was returned quickly and it worked fine again. from Buy.com Camera has a multitude of easy to use features but lacks manual white-balance it's auto wb doesn't always do an acceptable job under flourescent and incandescent lighting. The auto-focus and zoom are very noisy and are picked up on the sound track when taking a video sounds like a chorus of frogs croaking.
