But remember, this camera has been out of production for about three years now. Its replacement, the 40D, a wonderful camera, has been out of production for a year, replaced by the 50D. If having vintage cameras is something you don't mind, and the price is good, buy one. But just remember, look carefully at the features and compare it with the newer cameras, prior to buying.

I really like the 30D and it was a great upgrade from the 20D. The larger LCD screen is so much better and makes it easier to see the photo.

Had an issue with the memory card connector prongs but Canon fixed it free of charge. I have greatly enjoyed the camera and have used it to photograph portraits and weddings and some events.

The 30D is quick, colors are amazing, and I can't kill this battery. The refurbished packaging looked professional and the camera was very clean and looked as if I was its first user.

I bought this camera refurbished and have been quite happy with its overall performance. It compares to the 40D, but with less resolution. Does well when looking at the http://www.dxomark.com/ testing when compared to the Canon XXD series. I have shot rough 4000 clicks without a hitch.

A superb camera. Excellent IQ. The only annoying feature for me is the On/Off switch which is on the rear of the camera and is fiddly if you have big hands!

I've had this camera for a few years, bought mine in Hong Kong before you could get them in the US. It's never let me down. I put a much faster 8Gig memory card in it and discovered it could take pictures at 5 per second for ever providing you don't mind waiting 20 seconds for it to catchup when you stop.

It is a very good camera, very fast and clear; really miss the information on the display, I have also a XTi and I miss the quick information for the camera showed in the LCD display, in the 30D we spend more time to get all the informations;
