I need to activate the night scene before I could take good pics indoor. But other than that, quality of the pics are nice. Video is superb (using the Olympus xD card). However, you have to connect it first on the PC or TV in order for you to hear the sound captured. from Bestbuy.com What's not so great:?Wish it had a remote but that's minor as the self-timer is a good substitute "This little camera is a delight to use. It takes sharp pictures and it's easy to use and adjust. I've had several Olympus cameras and this one continues their great optics, unusually good macro modes, and all-around quality. The controls are very intuitive, and the instruction manual gives adequate information, although the print is too small and hard to read (for me, anyway). from Bestbuy.com Indoor picture quality is very grainy in all modes and has a lot of artifacts. Image stabilization appears to be a scene mode, meaning you can't turn it on while in another scene mode (night/portrait/indoor/etc), you have to choose between stabilization or one of the other modes. Olympus claims this camera supports MicroSD cards, but in reality it only supports XD cards, but includes a MicroSD->XD adapter that you can put your MSD card into. The price is unbeatable, less $100 I paid. from Amazon.com I put a 2gb card in the camera and it says it will take over 500 pictures. The only thing you need to know is that the USB has to be plugged directly into the computer and not through a USB hub! At first I could not transfer images so I called Olympus and they explained this and when I plugged directly into the computer, it worked just fine. Highly recommended but shop around for deals. from Amazon.com my 4 month old camera will not charge the battery, there is no technical support to help you figure out problem. Kodak had excellant support.
