I'm pretty camera savvy and I altered and tried EVERYsetting, then set it back to the defaults and it still won't work. When I move the joystick to the right to try to change the flash setting, the "activity light" just keeps blinking and blinking and blinking until I turn it off. I contaced Argus, I'll try the store next. from Bestbuy.com What's great about it:?great price, quality and style What's not so great:?flash "I wanted a nice digital camera for each of my children (ages 5 & 6). I didn't want the bulky Fisher-Price or V-Tech with poor quality: I wanted a decent quality picture with an LCD viewer so they could see the picture after they took them and one that was rugged. With the Argus bean I got much more: great value, quality, durability and stylish. I cannot help, but think for a few bucks more Argus could make this thing submersible.
