but I have been unable to find any software for my computer that I can use to edit my videos. Unlike DV tape, each time you stop and re-start this camera, it starts a new file whereas with tape, it merely resumes from the point where you stopped it. I recently transferred 101 files from the Sanyo to my computer and there they sit unedited. The camera does have a built in editing program but it is really limited. from Amazon.com There are some things I find very good about this camcorder; and some that are just unforgivable. First off, I couldn't find anywhere that said if this camcorder shot 16x9 or not; but I assumed that the suggested retail price and manufacturing date implied it did. It was idiotic for Sanyo to make this camera just 4:3 (Or maybe I was foolish for having such faith in Sanyo) But we're talking about a ten dollar circuit! At the end of the first decade I'm shocked that a standard definition camera with a retail price, from Sanyo, would Not support 16x9. from Amazon.com 1. its small and handy to take anywhere. I was expecting better, not professional quality, I have another digital video camera for that, but better than what I got. The Sanyo took very and I do underscore VERY poor quality, pixelated video and the images were more like 1 MP images, no where near the 9 MP that this product says. I am returning this product and purchasing a newer Aiptek camera. from Amazon.com The main reason for this is the fact that I have to carry so much stuff that it became a whole ordeal to use the camera with extra dvd's extra battery, not to mention the dvd cam was not so tiny. Now I can literally slip the tiny CG9 camera in my side pocket, and moments that would otherwise be lost can now get recorded. The high definition Sony camera works poorly in low light conditions compared to the Sanyo.
