The basic functionality of a camera is to take good pictures. If it doesn't do that well, the ease of use and the price are irrelevant. I own the the DMC-LZ3 (5MP) and the DMC-LZ7(7.2MP). Both take visibly sharper pictures as displayed on a computer, under similar conditions, at equal zoom and in enough light so that the shutter speed is quite fast. from Buy.com I have had the Lumix DMC-LZ10S for one week and I love it. For the price you just can't beat the LZ10. from Amazon.com It can take 5-7 seconds between pictures especially inside or at night. Extremely frustrating!!! I emailed costumer service at Panasonic if this was normal for the camera and received a response directing me to call instead. I have made two calls, waited on the line for 10 min each, no live person responded and I hung up. from Amazon.com I searched FOREVA on line trying to find the right camera for me. We immediately noticed that the Panasonic took longer to start up, focus, and shoot. Videos are also incredibly easy to take and the microphone takes surprisingly good audio. 10 MP for 140 bucks? What are you waiting for? from Amazon.com I waited for 5 days, and got a 10 megapixel, 5x optical zoom and a 30mm wide angle optically stabilized leica lens.
