Is my third digital camera and so far my favorite. Don't be too intimidated by the many variuos functions that the camera offers, the smart buttons make the camera very easy to use. Picture quality was better than I expected from Samsung, far better thanmy Fuji and Canon i had previously. I opted for the 4 GB memory card, with the card I can take 1920 pictures (at 7.0mp) or over 3 hours of video. from Circuitcity.com after researching which compact digital camera to buy for weeks, i patiently waited for the NV30 to come out. samsung have got it right this time!! from Circuitcity.com I purchased the camera on an incredible sale, so that might affect my expectations and satisfaction. I did have another Samsung that had a "glitch" that messed up random pictures. Because of the bad experience with the other camera, I hesitated getting this one; but the reviews were good and the price was excellent. from Amazon.com This is an awesome little camera. The NV11 had been receiving rave reviews in MacWorld magazine for several months, so I thought I would check it out, but the NV30 was just released last month (April 2008) and came with optical image stabilization whereas the NV11 only boosted ISO to combat camera shake, creating more noise in the images. from Amazon.com A very good camera for the price. I was looking for a "compromise" camera small enough to carry in a shirt pocket for snapshots during a trip or at a party.
