You have to be near a power outlet. This basically turns it into an indoors-only camera. Didn't the Fuji engineers know that a thin strip of metal, placed under constant pressure, will eventually sag? Maybe they were well aware of this. from Amazon.com It was not abused or over used. As several have already said it should last longer for $300. Fuji should have stood by their product.
