i'm not really like other people who check out the quality online first and reading reviews first before buying anything.. i saw an ad on office depot and it was like 150.. i had really wanted a digi cam so i decided to get it because i've seen an ir-300 and i thought it was the cutest thing. at first this camera really rocked.. from Yahoo.com Advantages: Small, compact and easy to use Disadvantages: No physical manual bit of a bother ...locked cabinet and recommended the Olympus IR-300 because it was so efficient with its many options but the one which I needed most was the E-MAILVGA. As far as blurry images go, I think there are some people who just take bad pictures- because I tested out a picture while shaking the camera and it still came out clear as any of my other pictures-no blurring. I don't believe this Olympus suffers from "shutter lag" it's top speed 1/2000 is just as fast as any other camera on the market of comparable value. I think this camera is a great deal. from Amazon.com I would like to share one important information to anyone shifting from Film cameras to Digital cameras: Do not buy the camera unless you have used your friend's Digital camera for atleast a day and NIGHT. Bought the IR-300 about a month back at Office Depot and shot some night pictures with it. The pictures were hazy, looked like brush work of a one year old child, even if I move the camera a little bit while shooting the pics, the image would be unrecognizable. from Amazon.com
