Advantages: Small, compact and very easy to use! Disadvantages: Old, not as good as more recent cameras. Nikon Coolpix S1. I bought this camera from Curries via their website for ?169 back in 2006, so it is relatively old now, and in terms of the advance in cameras, is almost an antique! from Ciao.co.uk This is really only a full sun camera unless you have a tripod. The lens is so small that its light gathering ability is pretty limited so any kind of low light photos will be blurry due to camera shake. The lens cover slides open and closed each time you turn it on and mine wore out after a year and is stuck shut (and just out of warranty). Nikon charges so much to fix it is better to just get a new one.
