I like the size and shape. In general, it is wonderful for zipping snap-shots from. It uses a rechargeable Li battery pack (comes with charging unit) and the obligatory 16M Olympus xD card. Other packed items include video cables and USB cables, instruction manuals (advanced manual is PDF ONLY), and OLYMPUS MASTER software. from Cnet.com This is a great camera in its range.. The Sony DSC-S40 is a good competetion.the only better thig about it is its 640 x 480 resolution movie mode. This olympus has 320 x 160 Quick Time Movie mode.. I don't know why the flash should make a difference in that regard, but it's consistent.
