Best Panasonic Digital Cameras for High Zoom

my second panasonic dmz fz series camera and i recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to lug around heavy cameras, but still can get shots that can compete with the best of them.

purchased this camera after doing research on super zooms, viewing several models and reading reviews of the panasonic fz18 which it replaced.

except it does not fit in your pocket, i am keeping this one and getting a new pocket camera from panasonic (probably the dmc zs 3)

and it's hard to find a panasonic camera bag that fit this camra.

(notice i rated this camera 4/5 stars--after all, it is 'primarily' a high-mp camera, not a hd camcorder, although some hd camcorders probably aren't better than the panasonic dmc-zs3.)

panasonic had great reviews and camera people that i spoke to spoke highly of it.

if i have to mention one thing i don't like, it is the firmware--not the camera itself, but the way that panasonic put restrictions in the firmware so non panasonic battery would not work.

my earlier experience with panasonic 4090 leads me to try this model since it has the features that i use more often - zooming, low light, landscape and groups of people.

the panasonic fz8 is one great camera at a great price from vanns.

first time i've owned a panasonic digital camera.it is so much better better than the other one i had.easy setting and everthing.

it is the one made specifically for this camera by panasonic and was fairly expensive.

this is my second panasonic camera and it is the best yet.

have had only one other digital camera before, and it was/is a panasonic dmc lz2.
