Best Camcorders for Full High Definition

i just wanted to point out for those that are not pc users but instead own an apple mac pro or any other mac computer that can run high def.

i don't have a pc powerful enough to handle high def video editing.

just a note for those who may want to record in high definition but do not have hd equipment.

i did a ton of research on high definition camcorders and settled on the canon vixia hg20 hdd.

i didn't buy it yet because 2 hours battery life goes with the 2 hours high def setting.

i have purchased all three of these little high def camcorders.

after becoming a grandparent, i felt i had a good reason to want a high definition camcorder, and now i own two.

and yes it is high definition.

the picture quality is amazing and when i upload videos to either my computer or playstation 3, the high-definition footage may not be up to the same quality as a few documentaries i have on blu-ray

the quality of the high-def video and the pocket size of it were the main selling points for me.

so i got very excited when i saw that a new high def version was available through the vine program.

the price will no doubt come down over time, and in six months or a year a high definition model or models will appear on the market that will make the minohd slide toward obsolescence.

the quality is high definition (hd) and compared to the ultra series, that makes a big difference.

- neither of these will compete with some of the high-definition flash memory camcorders that are on the market, such as the sanyo xacti - draw

if you're looking for super high-def, look elsewhere.

a major 'problem' is that i did not know the high def version was going to be released so soon after the release of the mino.
