I generally like Samsung products. I own a Samsung SC-HMX20C 8GB High Definition Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom that I used last winter for taking video at holiday get togethers. from Amazon.com I have owned this Samsung HMX-H106 Camera for about 2 months and have enloyed using it. I like the ease of use and quality of the resulting picture... from Amazon.com I spoke with Samsung and confirmed that this camera does not do 1080 at 30p or any other progressive scan mode.
