I got this for my 11 year old son to get him off our 'good' camera. I had a Vivitar enlarger in college, so I know their lenses are good quality. I'm impressed by the photo quality, he figured out the interface almost immediately, and the price is more than right. from Amazon.com I bought this camera last summer (not from Amazon). The camera is great though. from Amazon.com This is a very compact unit that functions pretty good with two exceptions; the sound recorder does not work; when outside on a sunny day the view screen becomes a mirror which prevents you from seeing anything but your own reflection. from Amazon.com
