Since I downloaded the new version of software for my Flip Ultra, all of the video clips I download are in reverse order, making it impossible for me to conveniently make complete videos editing the clips together. When I downloaded video clips before and then tried to make a movie, they were all in chronological order.
I bought this camera and at first it seemed pretty good. They updated the program on the camera so that when you use it for the first time it asks to download an update.
A week ago I bought the 120 minute Flip Ultra. Three days later I ordered another one for my wife.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 60-year-old father. I told him to open my present first so he'd be able to record the rest of the morning.
When I first bought this in summer 2007, I was very happy with this little camera. But soon after, I started to struggle with uploading the videos onto my computer.
Recommend wholeheartedly and without reservations! Carry this thing with me everywhere. Post videos on YouTube and Facebook. Make school projects for the kids.
I would have loved to have done a video review of the Flip Classic, but my Flip stopped working only one month after I started using it. I only used it four or five times, in fact.
Very easy to operate with good quality video and much better audio than would be expected from such a tiny device. The software loads easy and picking a single frame from the video stream for printing a photo is just a couple of mouse clicks.
I purchased the Flip to take with me on vacation over Christmas. I have a vcr video but it is very cumberson and I have to keep changing the vcr tapes.
Purchased this as a gift for my niece and I must say that I want to buy one for myself! It was so easy to figure out - the quality of the video is great and it's compact size makes it a steal for around $100.
