It also takes decent stills but nothing to rival a real digital camera. Highly recommended. (Go to Aiptek's site and get the latest firmware update for use with Mac OSX) from Bhphotovideo.com Received my Aiptek just 3 days ago, and am really happy with the results. Mine does have a zoom, but I believe it is a 2x digital--which would explain the difference in price from this unit that has a 3x optical. from Amazon.com CONCLUSION: Aiptek's GO-HD certainly shouldn't be your main choice for a HD camcorder, and the lack of image stabilization hurts a lot - but its ability to shoot 720p HD for 200 bucks and change makes it a great cheap grab 'n' go camcorder, or a holiday gift for a child who wants to shoot video but isn't careful with her/his toys from Amazon.com You can't beat the price of the GO-HD for the quality of the picture and ease of use. One caution, the video quality is dependent on how good a PC you have so don't try and view the video on an old pc it will be choppy or not play. from Amazon.com
