Pros: HD Picture Quality and 5.1 Surround Sound Cons: None so far. "This purchase is my first venture into the world of HD recording and this Sony camcorder satisfied all of my desires. CONS: expensive high def dual layer sony dvd recordable dics 10-15 dollars for one disc. I took out the Handycam Camcorder from my purse, and started using the powerful zoom on the handycam, and was able to zoom right down front. I spent some time reading the reviews on the camera and on the DVD player which has to be a Sony Blu-ray. What am I missing? from Amazon.com When you record in HD, you can only playback your 8 cm disc on a SONY Blu- Ray, not any other manufacturer's Blu-Ray's!!!!!!!!
