I returned the camcorder and purchased the Sanyo VPC-CG6. The Aiptek record quality was extremely poor. My main computer is a Mac, so I had some reservations about the MZ-DV, since it uses Microsoft's proprietary ASF video format. Had they done that, that would have at least remedy the issue somewhat. Aiptek should have resolved this issue even before manufacturing it. I have used the MPVR before from Aiptek and this product is even better.
