my recommendation is to purchase the mini hdmi cable and make sure you have a strong video editing software program(that can open .mts files) because nothing comes from canon....i use adobe premiere

i thought it would be great to review this canon compared to the samsung i got a year ago samsung sc-hmx20c 8gb high definition camcorder with 10x optical zoom which is almost the same.
