i use it to clean audio from interviews done with my digital recorder, and it does an amazing job!
the instruction manual (which must be printed from the cd) doesn't do a good job of explaining how to use the program, in my opinion.
soundsoap does an excellent job of removing these artifacts.
i've been using a freeware tool from exact audio copy that does a nice job of that...
i've used other filters to clean music, and for this price, i expected a "decent" job.

requires heavy iron to run well but it's the only thing that does the job right.
if you're thinking of a job in graphics manipulation, this is a must have, pricey as it may be.

while it comes with enough effects and tools to do the job, you'll definitely want to pick up some add-ons, like reason 3.0, guitarrig 2.0, ampeg svx, absynth, waves plug-ins, etc.
in combination with the wacom pad, this program has done a most satisfactory job for our family.

i am trying to get a photography studio off the ground as a part-time business while holding a full- time job and raising two little kids.
so far, i've found the software useable and somewhat intuitive, and it does a good printing job.
in short, it does everything extremely well that the epson did poorly and does an acceptable job at what the espon did best.
it was so slow that i think i am still waiting for some of my labeling jobs to finish.
the power supply was not heated up at all with over 100 continuous print jobs.
i also compared "normal" print quality to "best" and the difference for this job was slight, so i printed them all in "normal".
and this software does it job flawlessly in the blink of an eye.
corel even does a better job a making pdf files than the adobe distiller.
i use corel for everything, from page layout (leaflets, magazines and newspapers), to image editing, to pre-printing jobs.
i have used coreldraw for almost 6 years everyday in my job from version 9 thru 12.
i had to literally throw a fit to be heard and finally the third person over a period of two days took their job seriously enough to answer my problems.
now vegas movie studio 8 is not the easiest product to learn, but it does the job, has way more functionality than i will ever need, and there are support people who will gladly help you when you get
would hands down be sony vegas movie studio 8 for it's professional look and feel, useability, features, excellent dvd architect software, and just about having everything i need to get my job done.

fairly user friendly and does job for what i need.
i'm not sure why so many people say such bad things about it but i think it does a great job for a piddling price when there are competitive products selling upwards of $500.
does a great job and is reasonably fast on my 2.8ghz p4 with 1gb ram.
for me, studio is doing the job for a reasonable price.
for those who, like me, don't have the luxury of doing this as a full time job, every minute counts, and it is easy to have unproductive sessions for quite a few times.
