Does not have auto-restart in case of power outage

As far as not turning back on after a power outage it isn't a big issue.

The only negative I have is that the CFM-40 does not reset after a power outage or after unplugging it.

As everyone mentions they are very quiet but the biggest downside is that if you have a power outage (or surge) they do not come back on by themselves.
