Best Dehumidifiers for Pint

this frigidaire model offers 20 more pints than any other dehumidifier than i could find at the price of $200, so it's a great value.

after a less than satisfactory experience with the soleus 25 pint dehumidifier (no customer service, basically) i returned it and bought this slightly larger frigidaire unit.

i'm very pleased getting a 70-pint dehumidifier for under $200.

i think that it should remove moisture a little better, but it is only 35 pint per day.

it is energy efficient (energy star); it has a large capacity (70 pints/day); it is reliable (whirlpool 5-year warranty).issues: noise.

now with the 75 pint dehumidifier, we keep the thermostat at 75-76 and both of us are comfortable.

sure you can hear the fan and compressor when it runs, but all dehumidifiers i have use make noise and this one is no louder than the 10 year old 40 pint unit it replaced.

if a 20-pinter will do it, and you need it to be quiet, this is the way to go.

i found the unit more effective when set specifically to one of the % range settings - managing to remove several pints of water from the air daily.
