Best Dehumidifiers for The House

relative humidity outside has been in the 80% - 90% range and this unit really makes a difference, it feels much more comfortable in the house now, in the room it's in, and in the rooms adjacent.

our house was bought over 20 years ago and i have no idea how old it was when we bought the house.

both of our prior dehumidifiers worked well but were so noisy and generated so much heat in the house that we returned them.

our aging hvac could not handle the humidity and despite cranking down the ac, the house was never comfortable.

i bought this dehumidifier to replace one that had gotten so loud that even though it was in the basement, could be heard through the whole house!

we use it for the house, which is approximately 1200 square feet.

here in wisconsin it is in the 60's but rainy, so the house is humid.

it makes the house much warmer, without even turning the heat on.

i use it to remove moisture from the whole house.

i wish it had an alarm or something so that i could know that it's full from another part of the house.

if the outside air is cool, but still high humidity, the central air conditioning does not run enough to reduce the humidity in the house.

the house is cooler and the thermostat is showing about a 20 point decrease in humdity.

easy to operate and move to any location n the house.

:( but it was so loud that from the basement on the far end of the house to the bedroom on the first floor it kept me awake at night.
